* Initiating the Enrollment Process
Hello,
prospective online student!
I'm
Jo Ann Fenner, Associate Program Developer, and your first point of
contact when considering enrollment in an IPT online course. I am
available to answer questions regarding the program, assist you with the
forms and materials required to be eligible to take an online class, and
am your temporary advisor until you complete the admission process.
If you have questions
regarding the IPT degree-seeking admission process, please feel free to
contact me directly by phone 208-424-5135 or by email at
jfenner@boisestate.edu
If you are not admitted to the
graduate college, please complete the following steps to be eligible to take
an IPT online course.
Initiating the process
to take an IPT online class:
Apply to Boise
State University's Graduate College.
Submit Equipment Availability Checklist (EAC). Upon receipt
of your EAC, an IPT student account will be created for you. IPT
Systems Administrator Ron Grames will send you an email containing
your username, password, ID file (e.g. jdoe.id) and instructions for
downloading Lotus Notes.
Install/configure Lotus Notes and create
replicas of BSU Campus and IPT Bootcamp databases.
Successfully complete the IPT Bootcamp. The
Summer 2008 Boot Camp will be held between
May 9 - 17 and the Fall 2008 Bootcamp will be held between August 11
- 19.
Upon completion of the above 4 steps, you are then ready to
participate in
an online course. To register for a course, you must first have been
assigned a student ID# and password by the BSU Registrar (it is NOT
the same as your Lotus Notes ID file and password that Ron Grames sent
to you). If you are ready to register for a course, but have not yet
received your student ID# and password, please notify me via e-mail at
jfenner@boisestate.edu.
