Education Background:
Dr. Donald J. Winiecki holds an Ed.D. in Instructional Technology (Texas
Tech University) and a Ph.D. in Sociology (Central Queensland University).
He is a full-time Graduate Faculty member in the IPT department and adjunct
faculty in the Sociology department at BSU. He is active in research and
publishing his research on the affect and effect of technologies in social
and organizational settings. He has been a performance consultant in
industry and vocational-technical education both nationally and
internationally, a technical illustrator, technical writer, and developer of
classroom and computer-based training for national and international
corporations and the United States Navy, Army and Air Force.

Scholarly, Creative & Research Activities:
His research focuses on the social impacts of technology in social and
organizational settings. He has presented papers at conferences for the
American Educational Research Association (AERA), the International Society
for Performance Improvement (ISPI), the Association for Computing Machinery
(ACM) and the Pacific Sociological Association (PSA).
