Education Background:

Linda Huglin received a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Idaho in 2003. In addition, she has a Master's Degree in Instructional and Performance Technology from Boise State University as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Pacific University in Oregon. She also holds an Idaho Education Credential in Chemistry, Physical Science, and Special Education.

Teaching:

Dr. Huglin regularly teaches:

  • IPT510 Collaborative Online Communication & Learning

  • IPT531 Overview of Research Design, Measurement & Statistics

  • IPT535 Learning Theory for Instructional Designers,

  • IPT564 Motivation in IPT, and

  • IPT595 Readings & Conference: Preparation for the Comprehensive Exam. 

Research Activities:

Her research interests include the study of research trends in HPT, the application of HPT methodology to non-profit organizations, and adult cognitive development.
