Education
Background:
Dr. Donald J. Winiecki
holds an Ed.D. in Instructional Technology and a Ph.D in Sociology and is a full-time Graduate
Faculty member in the IPT department. He is experienced as a performance
consultant, technical illustrator, technical writer, and developer of
classroom and computer-based training for national and international
corporations and the United States Navy, Army and Air Force.

His
research focuses on the social impacts of technology and the design of non-instructional
performance interventions. He is a published researcher, has presented
papers at conferences for the American Educational Research Association
(AERA), the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI),
the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Pacific
Sociological Association (PSA).
